Under direct supervision of the Laboratory Manager, this position is responsible for performing clerical functions for the laboratory and collects blood samples using specified phlebotomy procedures. Using universal precautions, processes biological samples for analysis and referencing to outside laboratories. Completion of a certified phlebotomy training course. Knowledge of uses and care of laboratory equipment; medical terminology; basic physiology; protocol for aseptic procedures. Computer Skills and experience required. Part-time/Afternoons.
